Guarantees
Box on box offers a comprehensive warranty for certain selected products. We are sure that our products are of good quality and many of our goods are therefore covered by warranty. Our guarantees may change over time and are always governed by the date of order and purchase. The terms and conditions apply from the day you receive your item.
What is covered by the warranty?
We offer a 20-year warranty that covers material and production defects on steel frames, sandwich panels and facade panels. The product warranty is only valid for private use and according to the conditions set out below. Please note that the warranty offered in no way limits or replaces your right of complaint under applicable consumer law.
How long is the warranty valid for?
Our warranty is valid for 20 years from the date of delivery.
What is covered by the product warranty?
The warranty covers the following products in all our modules:
- Steel frame
- Sandwich panel
- Facade plate
What is not covered by the warranty?
- Normal wear and tear, cuts, nicks, scratches or damage caused by impact or accident
- Normal changes e.g. normal visual wear and tear due to weather, wind and UV light that occurs during a product's life cycle
- Damage caused by loss, theft, fire or if there is evidence that the damage may have been caused by accident
- Damages caused indirectly or as a result of the use of the product
- Damage that occurred during transport in e.g. sales (other than from Box on box)
- Unjustified or lack of repair or normal routine maintenance
- If the product has changed in appearance/function, for example when repainting
- If the product has been disassembled and assembled incorrectly
- If the product has been used in a context other than for private use
- If the product has been stored or installed incorrectly.
- If the product has been used in an abnormal or inappropriate manner
- Improper cleaning with strong cleaning agents
- Damages in connection with repairs, service or changes made by someone other than Box on box recommended
- If the CE label on the modules is missing, deleted, destroyed or made illegible
What is Box on box doing to fix the problem?
If you want to use the warranty that applies during the warranty period, Box on box will examine the product and determine if the problem is covered by the warranty. If we believe that the product is covered by the warranty, we will pay and at our option to:
- Repair the item with new or with parts that have been used in the past but are new in performance and reliability.
- Exchange the item for a new product or offer a suitable replacement product. It is Box on box that determines what is a suitable replacement product.
- Make price reductions on existing goods
- Take the item back and give money back
Box on box only corrects errors and complaints as long as the product remains in Sweden. Replaced parts belong to us.
How to use the warranty?
To use the guarantee, you need to contact Box on box customer service via the contact form. Always save the original receipt/order confirmation, it is valid as proof of purchase and must always be presented for the warranty to apply. You will also need to describe what type of claim you want to make when you contact us. Our customer service will get back to you with more information.
Liability limitations
Except as provided in this warranty and to the extent permitted by law, Box on box shall not be liable for any direct, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of any breach of the warranty or these terms.
Deviations in the warranty conditions apply if the module is used for rental or commercial use.
